Understanding what gets in the way
It's not always the child. Sometimes it's the format.
Too fast, too abstract, or too uniform, some materials require the child to adapt before they can even begin to understand.
Attention slips
Too much information is coming in at once and the child loses track.
Confidence drops
After struggling again and again in the format offered, the child starts to doubt their abilities.
Learning becomes a source of tension
Homework, reading or activities can cause blockages, avoidance or refusal.
The child doesn't necessarily need to do more. They may need a different entry point.
THE CANOPY ANSWER
Nature becomes a place for learning, confidence, and independence.
Each CANOPY world pairs an illustrated story with a hands-on activity book. Children can first step into the world, then observe, handle, repeat, and take it in at their own pace.
THE BOOK
Step into the world
An illustrated and audio story to understand a situation, grow fond of a character, and discover another way forward.
Illustrated story
Audio accessible via QR code
Reading accompanied by visual cues
THE ACTIVITY BOOK
Turning the story into an experience
Step-by-step activities to observe, create, experiment, feel, and build lasting landmarks.
Concrete activities
Multisensory experiences
Progress toward independence
A book to understand. An activity book to experiment and take it in.
A MULTISENSORY EXPERIENCE
The child does not depend on a single way of learning.
CANOPY increases the entry points to make discoveries more concrete, more accessible and easier to integrate.
Observe
Natural illustrations and details for looking, spotting, and understanding.
Listen
Audio content available via QR code to enter the story in a new way.
Handle
Hands-on activities to trace, create, touch, try, and repeat.
Feel
Breathing, emotions, and personal choices to connect learning to lived experience.
The more a child can observe, listen, handle, and feel, the more they can build their own landmarks.
THE SLOWO METHOD
Observe. Experiment. Integrate. Choose.
A simple progression to help the child understand what they are experiencing, build their bearings, and gradually gain independence.
1
Observe
Look before acting.
Spot the details, emotions, changes and possibilities.
2
Experiment
Learn through movement and action.
Try, handle, create, move, and start over, without aiming for perfection right away.
3
Integrate
Turn experience into a reference point.
Understand what works, recognize progress, and build confidence.
4
Choose
Take charge of your own path.
Identify what is needed, decide, and move forward with greater autonomy.
Each animal builds an inner strength

Answers to families' questions
The collection is designed mainly for children ages 5 to 10. Support can be adapted to the child’s independence, needs, and interests.
No. CANOPY is designed to open more doors to learning and can suit many children, with or without a diagnosis, especially those who learn best with concrete, visual, audio, or step-by-step materials.
Each item can be used on its own. The book opens the door to the world and tells the story. The activity book extends the discovery with hands-on activities. Together, they make the most complete experience.
QR codes provide access to audio content from a compatible phone or tablet. The child can listen with adult supervision depending on their age.
No. It offers a path of observation, creation, and experimentation. The goal isn’t to test the child, but to let them try, feel, and build their own landmarks.
